Install the Hard Disk
Install Hard Disk to case
Locate where your hard drive is going to be installed, it's usually in the lower part of your case.
Then you need to install your Hard Drive to your case, use the screws that came with your drive and carefully match the hard drive with the screw holes.
Install the screws, and make sure the hard disk is secured tight to the computer. And once the hard disk is safe and secure we can connect the hard disk to the motherboard.
Connect to motherboard
Connecting the hard disk sometimes can be tedious task, especially if you're hard disk uses IDE, there are a lot of pins and can get a while to get it to connect.
IDE
You need to connect the IDE cable to the hard disk and to the motherboard.

Connect the IDE Cable to the hard disk.
Always remember to connect it to the Primary in the motherboard, if you do not know which is the primary, look at the motherboard.

Look at your motherboard to see whether it's primary or secondary.
Power Cables
Connect the power cables to the hard disk from the power supply, these tend to get a bit hard to connect and disconnect.

SATA
Connecting SATA is easier than connecting IDE, you just need to connect the cables the same way as IDE but with different cables, this time you will use the small red cable like in the picture below.
Sometimes it is required to install other power cables to your sata Hard Drive.

After you've finished connecting both your power cables and your IDE/SATA cables we can proceed to the next part.
