Assembling the CPU

Now we must assemble your CPU to your motherboard,you need to match the pins on your CPU with the ones on your motherboard, this is important.

See the small empty space on the picture above?
That's where you need to match the pins to mount the CPU correctly.
The CPU should go in without using ANY force whatsoever.
Now we need to pull down the CPU lever.

Assembling the Heatsink and fan

After your CPU is installed like the one in the picture above, we need to put the thermal paste and then the heatsink wih the fan.

1. Apply the thermal paste to the CPU.



2. Place the heat sink on top of the cpu.




3. Place the brackets on the CPU.

This part involves thinking, because not all the heatsink brackets look the same, but they work the same way.





You need to put the bracket so the heatsink stays pressed hard against the CPU.





Push the brackets down so the Heatsink stays firm with the CPU.
